The Family Violence Coalition of Yancey County, Inc. is a non-profit organization working to provide temporary shelter and other services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.
Our mission is to:
- provide direct services and support to victims of domestic
violence and sexual assault
- educate victims about the choices and options that are
available to them
- educate the community on the causes as well as the barriers
victims face
- prevent the cycle of violence from continuing
